User Registration Process

The process for registering users of the Internet Data Delivery system will require a somewhat different workflow from today's manual data fulfillment process. In the current process, clients can submit a custom data request form to Jason McNees, in the NatureServe central office heritage data services group. The data request form gathers information from the client about their organization and the purpose for their data request, and allows them to describe the data fields and geographic scope for their request. This basic process is followed for all clients that desire a custom multi-jurisdictional dataset. In the Internet Data Delivery system, the type of information that is gathered from potential clients will remain largely the same, but there will be some components of the process that can be automated.

Review the proposed workflow for the Internet Data Delivery user registration process.

Send us feedback about the proposed user registration process.
