Taxonomic Reconciliation
Taxonomic Change Processor Demo
This prototype represents part 3 of a series of tools to be developed to enable "on demand" taxonomic reconciliation.
Part 1: Taxonomic Capsule Editor - the tool used to define a proposed taxonomic change.
Part 2: Taxonomic Analysis and eXchange Interface (TAXI) - this is the core service that both deploys taxonomic capsules and allows users to view the status and history of pending capsules.
Part 3: Taxonomic Change Processor - the tool that allows users (both centrally and at local program offices) to make decisions about a taxonomic change and apply those decisions directly to their Biotics system.
Note that these screens are all static html: there are buttons and links that will take you to other static pages, and the check boxes and text fields do not collect information or remember what you entered. This is a non-functional prototype only.
These prototype screens are meant to illustrate the basic type of functionality envisioned for member programs to receive notification about taxonomic changes, make decisions about them, and accept or reject them.
