Both parties agree to the following:
- Description of Task:
Below is a modification to Attachment 1 of the Data Sharing Agreement DSA2005XX between the [member program name] and NatureServe, all other terms and conditions of the Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) remain the same. This modification hereby replaces the species location (EO) data access policies set out in Attachment 1 of the current DSA.
With the cooperation and guidance of its members, NatureServe has developed a set of online administrative tools. These online administrative tools will be used by the [member program name] to document its data access policies that govern how NatureServe manages and provides access to the [member programs]’s EO data inside and outside an online data delivery system.
NatureServe will maintain the administrative tools online, but only the [member program name] will be permitted to set, change or delete the settings in the administrative tools that specify data access rules and authorizations for data that the [member program name] shares with NatureServe under the current DSA. The only exception is if the [member program name] gives NatureServe written permission to make a change to the data access policies on their behalf.

Therefore, this modification to Attachment 1 of the DSA documents that the [member program name] has agreed to authorize NatureServe to make the data provided by the [member program name] available to third-party users as governed by the data access policies set by the [member program] as described above. The [member program name] further agrees to work with NatureServe staff to set up a data access account using the online administrative tools, and set its EO data access policies using this tool.
- Payment
This is a no-cost Task Order, and does not obligate either party to pay the other for the implementation of the online administrative tools. Payment for specific uses of the data will be determined by the [member program name] on a request-by-request basis under a separate Task Order, or by the [member program name]specifying standard data access fees in the online administrative tools.
- Contract Period
This task order shall begin on [date signed] and shall remain in effect until the DSA2005XX expires or until it is terminated by either party, whichever comes first. Any extension beyond the expiration date of the current DSA must be in writing, and signed, by both parties.
