Browse NatureServe Web Services - Get Species Location Data (coming soon)
The Get Species Location service provides access to the species occurrence-level data (mapped locations of species populations) aggregated by NatureServe from its network of member programs throughout the United States and Canada. The service can return all of the range-wide occurrences associated with a given species, or the response can be limited to a spatially represented area, or by providing a USESA/COSEWIC or NatureServe conservation status of interest. The species location data returned by this service may include the precise spatial representation polygons as mapped by the NatureServe member program, or generalized location data, depending on the requestor’s access privileges.
